Rempah Making Workshop with Anthony the Spice Maker
19 Feb 2023, 5.30–7.30 pm
Ixora Room, L1

A well-prepared rempah is the backbone of Peranakan cooking. The base of well-loved dishes like laksa and curry plays a critical role in creating the perfect harmony of flavours characteristic of Peranakan cuisine.

In this fun and interactive workshop, you’ll learn the basics of making rempah with an exclusive demonstration of how to cook Nyonya Chicken Curry, including a hands-on activity. Participants will take home the rempah they have blended, as well as recipes to use in their own kitchens.
